DiplomatMagazine and VVD Wassenaar are organising after work drinks for expats living in Wassenaar. We are proud that Wassenaar hosts a large and vibrant expat community that contributes to our village. We would like to invite you for a drink and hear your concerns, needs and opinions on living in the Netherlands and Wassenaar.
The VVD Wassenaar is the largest political party in Wassenaar and the local branch of Prime Minister Mark Rutte's political party, the VVD. The local elections for the municipality council in Wassenaar are scheduled for 21 March. Many expats, including all EU citizens, have the right to vote. The VVD encourages you to participate. Your voice on important local issues such as housing, safety and traffic matters to us.
From the VVD canddidates Caroline Klaver-Bouwman, Laurens van Doeveren and Gerbrand Nijman will participate. Deputy Ambassador Nick Heath of the United Kingdom will say a few words about the importance of local elections and municipalities in his work.
This event will be held at 20.00 PM (doors open 19.30) on March 6 in Auberge De Kieviet, Stoeplaan 27 in Wassenaar. You are very much welcome!
